£85 - £100 PAYE

I am working with a fantastic residential school in the London Borough of Redbridge which houses and educates students with educational statements and encourages them to reach their full potential.

This school are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team of fantastic staff who work together to create a family feel; with their small class sizes and shared mealtimes, you'll agree that they are exceeding expectations.


Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor

  • Working with individual students to develop their social, emotional and behavioural skills
  • Being responsible for the safety of the children, making sure they have a secure but stimulating setting where they can be involved in not only education but also leisure activities
  • Counsel the students in personal and social skills, including health, hygiene, domestic protocol and relationships
  • Behaviour Mentor
  • Accompany children to various required visits such as doctors, shopping trips, dentist etc
  • Behaviour Mentor
  • Observe the students and write reports to notify any required information

The ideal Behaviour Mentor

  • The ideal Behaviour Mentor should be empathetic and nurturing
  • Driving is preferred even if you hold a full license but do not have a vehicle
  • Has experience or knowledge surrounding SEMH and can remain calm in challenging situations
  • Enjoys sport and doing outdoor activities

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm, Permanent


Salary:
£85.00-£100.00 per day

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chigwell: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
