Head of People and Recruitment - Summer School and Camps


We are looking for an energetic and passionate person to take on this new role to work with the business unit Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to lead of all aspects of recruitment and staff management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working with the SLT, lead and manage all aspects of recruiting staff across all sites for all Summer Schools and Holiday Camps
Build on the existing relationships with staff in each school to continue to utilize existing staff across the group and create a recruitment

  • Create and deliver a strategy for the recruitment of temporary staff for all holiday programmes to include online recruitment companies, university recruitment fairs and other relevant avenues
  • Manage all aspects of safeguarding compliance as required on behalf of each school
  • Plan and manage staffing requirements at all sites throughout operational periods Recruitment
  • Work with the the DoSS and OM to plan staffing requirements for each site to enable recruitment of the required number of staff, the required skills / expertise and compliance checks People
  • Ensure a planned delivery of induction and training for all staff
  • Manage a process for monitoring staff performance and feedback
  • Support the DoSS and OM to deal with any staffing issues that arise, ensuring group staff policies are understood and followed
  • Manage the allocation of staff throughout the sites, building in flexibility to be able to respond to fluctuations of numbers and unexpected staff absence.

The salary for this role is competitive and dependant upon experience.

Up to £35,000.00 per year
