Description

Banham Poultry recruiting for Team Leader to provide support for the Production Supervisor, to meet or exceed operational requirements. This will involve supervising colleagues and workload to meet production requirements within the agreed timescales.

Responsibilities:

Carried out prestart checks correctly and actioned.
Keep waste to a minimum.
Monitor and motivate operatives performance promoting a good team spirit
Maintain an up to date knowledge of procedures relating to H&S including Fire Evacuation, Manual Handling etc.
Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet deadlines
Prepare work area for production on a daily basis report any issues immediately to Production Supervisor and escalate where necessary
Ensure correct materials (labels, trays, product, film) available to run orders and minimise down time
Ensure correct stock rotation
Complete all orders within the timescale agreed.
Undertake problem solving within Production
Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees;
