Responsibilities of a General Teaching Assistant:

As a General Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing support to individual students or groups, assisting them in reaching their desired academic levels.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs, such as ADHD, ASD, LMD, SEMH, who may require additional assistance.
  • Attending relevant school meetings, briefings, and events.
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure high levels of achievement.

Qualifications and Requirements for a successful General Teaching Assistant:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification, such as CACHE Level 2 or
  • Display enthusiasm and willingness to support students.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
