£36, £43,155.00 Per Annum, Pro Rata.**
CMVM / School of Molecular and Clinical Medicine / MRC Human Genetics Unit / MRC Institute of Genetics and Cancer.

Fixed Term Contract - 3 Years; Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.**
The Opportunity:This project aims to investigate how RNA-mediated large-scale chromatin structure affects transcription and will focus on a role for phase-separated protein/RNA structures. This is a unique opportunity for a recently graduated PhD student or an experienced post-doctoral researcher to join a diverse team of chromatin biologists, physicists and bioinformaticians all investigating chromatin architecture and regulation.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Strong interest in chromatin biology.
  • Previous experience in FISH and/or super resolution microscopy.
  • Molecular biology and tissue culture techniques including CRISPR, ChIP, RNAi, next generation sequencing.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
