Description
An experienced Executive Assistant is needed for a performing arts company based in London. This is a key role which provides personal, administrative and project support to the Artistic Director.

It requires an engaging, reliable person with excellent communication and organisational skills, who can take the initiative and work across multiple projects.


This bespoke organisation use theatre, film and mentoring to help young, disadvantaged 1625-year-olds from diverse ethnic communities improve their skills, make positive life choices and increase their opportunities of finding employment.


Working within a small team, the Executive Assistant role involves providing comprehensive support to the Artistic Director, including precise calendar and logistics management, prioritisation of tasks and project updates, coordination of meetings and events, and representation at meetings.

Responsibilities extend to managing communication for internal and external projects, engagement of social media platforms, newsletter, and website support.

The position requires proficiency in diary management research, and administration for development projects, as well as handling personal matters for the Artistic Director.

Financial coordination with the General Manager, effective team communication, stakeholder interaction, and maintaining an organised filing system for scripts and projects contribute to the role's diverse responsibilities.


To qualify... You could be an Executive Assistant / Creative Project Liaison / Administrative and Project Support Officer / Directorial Support Co-Ordinator or similar with a CV which demonstrates the following.

  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal with a confident and firm (when necessary) but pleasant telephone manner, always maintaining confidentiality.
  • At ease communicating with a wide range of people, confidently building, and maintaining relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organisation and with key external partners and funders.
  • Numerate, strong writing skills, demonstrating attention to detail and being able to produce written documents to a high standard.
  • Strong planner, well organised, unflappable, with a demonstrable track record of working under pressure and in so doing being able to use their own initiative when needed and think outside the box to support the Artist Director.
  • Exceptional organisational skills when assisting with various projects/matters/tasks and prioritise accordingly.
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 or MAC IOS, databases/CRM systems and graphic design software
  • Able to maintain accurate confidential systems of records, either manually or on a database.
  • Flexibility whilst the role is Monday to Friday, some weekend and evening work will be required.
  • Team player, able to create favourable working relationships easily, with the ability to organise others when necessary and assist others when required.
  • Agree to an enhanced DBS check.
  • To have an understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultural, ethnic and faith backgrounds in urban socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
