We are a small firm of Chartered Accountants / Chartered Certified Accountants based in the Harrow area and looking for a team member to help with our ever-increasing workload.
You will be working under the direct supervision of the partner. By working directly under the director, you will receive an excellent experience.The role is suitable for someone
- Studying towards ACCA or aiming to study ACCA and looking to complete three years of experience.
- Someone who is an assistant accountant looking for a better experience by working directly under the Partner.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Experience with double-entry posting.
- Preparation of the yearend accounts and CT600s for small companies. You may help partner with some large set of accounts.
- Preparation of the annual accounts for unincorporated businesses.
- Preparation of selfassessments
- Preparation / review of VAT returns on Xero / Excel
- Preparation of small and large payrolls (weekly / monthly)
- Helping with daytoday admin work
- at least 12 months of working experience in an accountancy firm.
- Good accounting knowledge accruals, prepayments, and yearend journal.
- Excellent communication skills
We are considering applicants for a full-time role; depending on your experience, we can offer between £19,000 to £23,000 for a full-time role, including benefits.
