Positive Employment is currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for our client based in Tottenham.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

1-to-1 teaching interactions with your pupil.
Motivating your student to achieve beyond their potential and making them feel comfortable and confident in their own abilities.
Supporting and encouraging the pupil in their schoolwork.
Helping them understand instructions and encourage them to communicate.
Supporting them during social activities, outings, and sports events.
Assisting Teachers to plan learning activities, prepare learning materials, complete records, and carry out administrative tasks.
Supporting Teachers in managing class behaviour.
Supervising pupils in the playground.
Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons.

Personal Requirements:

Experience in a similar role assisting children with behavioral issues or special needs in a school/nursery setting.
An enhanced DBS with child barring check.
Patient and professional manner when interacting with children.
Relevant qualifications (desirable).
