We have an opportunity for a person to join our large Finance Team, based at our Central Support Office in York.


You will initially join the corporate finance team for a fixed 12 month maternity cover period, providing a financial administration service - managing allocation of centrally managed costs.


The role reports to the Head of Group Reporting, and the opportunity could suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying towards AAT or further professional qualifications (CIMA, ACCA).

On a day to day basis the opportunity will involve;

  • Preparation of multi practice journals to allocate costs on consolidate centrally billed invoices.
  • Reconciliation of trade creditors
  • Raising sales invoices for rebates and other ad hoc income streams
  • Bank reconciliations for holding company and funding bank accounts
It will be an advantage to have prior experience with;

  • Purchase ledger/book keeping
  • Experience of sales ledger and credit control functions
  • Microsoft Dynamics Nav

This is a 37.5 hour per week, full time opportunity, primarily based at our Central Support office, in York (Clifton Moor), though some hybrid working is possible (We ask for 60% in-office), and hours can be worked flexibly within office hours
