Description
Marks Sattin are working with a leading private equity backed business in Birmingham to recruit a Group Financial Controller.
The business is growing from strength to strength and operating under an aggressive buy-and-build strategy and as such, now require a Group Financial Controller to manage the finance function, financial reporting and support with any post integration ofnewly acquired businesses.
- Delivering monthly reporting process including expansion of KPI data set and analysis
- Supporting the yearend process and audit
- Enhance internal control environment
- Potential involvement in supporting with a new ERP implementation
- Manage a team of qualified and nonqualified staff, covering transactional finance
- Manage and comply with HMRC reporting requirements and tax filings
- M&A and integration support
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience working for a PE backed business is essential
- Experience in a professional services / consultancy environment
- Advanced Excel must have the ability to analyse large complex data
