ASSISTANT COMPANY SECRETARY - WEST MIDLANDS / REMOTE - TO £65K An experienced Assistant Company Secretary is required work within the in-house legal and compliance team of a Public utility Company.

Role Overview Based in the West Midlands you'll join alarge Public Utilities Company The role is varied and duties include but are not limited to:


  • Creating statutory registers from historic documentation, maintaining, and updating the registers
  • Board & Committee meeting governance (papers, minutes, mattersarising, diary management)
  • Directors' appointments, training and duties
  • Statutory Filings & filing dormant accounts
  • Licensing
  • Compliance with Companies Act 2006, Combined Code and Ofwat guidance
  • Deputising for Co Sec at main board meetings
  • Actingas Co Sec for 2 Committees and deputising for 3 others
  • Assisting with ESG
  • Managing annual report & accounts process
  • Assisting with corporate transactions and restructures
  • Minimum 2 years' Assistant Company Secretarial experience for one or more UK limited companies.
  • Proven experience
  • Previous experience in Utilities or general insurance would be an advantage, but is notessential. What's on offer? You will join an expanding multimillion pound public utilities company with ambitious expansion plans over the next 5 years.
