We are currently recruiting for a Test Manager within the retail industry; a business facing role on a high profile project, where you will need to be able to hit the ground running and be a vital member of the team in a critical assignment.


Test Manager

INSIDE IR35

£600 - £625 p/d

6 months

ASAP Start

Remote/London (once a week in the office)

Essential experience:

  • Warehousing/Supply chain experience
  • SAP/Oracle/etc
  • UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • SIT (Systems Integration Testing)
  • OAT (Operations Acceptance Testing)
  • Bonded warehousing experience
  • Full lifecycle testing
  • Come from a testing background and can manage/mentor smaller team of testers
  • HMRC (Customs and Exercise) e.g., Tax / compliance
  • Strong stakeholder management from testers
  • C suite
  • Work with outsourced delivery partners/3rd party suppliers

Desirable experience:

  • Defect Testing
  • Pen Testing
  • Testing certifications such as ISEB or ISTQB
This role will require you to pick things up extremely quickly, given that it is a business facing position.

You will not only need to define test plans and strategies, but as the test manager, you will defect tests as well as checking test leads completingtests.

You must manage various stakeholders across various tiers of seniority and be confident doing this. You will work in a collaborative environment and a fast pace. It is imperative that you can manage teams of testers. You will need to draw on your warehousingexperience for this role. Having a background as a tester, will ensure you have a wealth of understanding in terms of timescales/lifecycles.
