JOB SPECIFICATION
Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant - Based in Swindon
This is an extremely busy, very challenging, stimulating, and exciting role with opportunities to learn and expand one's knowledge.
As an accounts assistant you should be self-motivated, be able to manage own workload as well as being able to work under pressure.
Must have accounts experience, a full working knowledge of Sage 50 an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
As an Accounts Assistant, you should have knowledge and understanding of the following:
- Raising sales invoices
- Processing purchase invoices
- Bank Reconciliation
- Credit control
- Posting weekly sales to the system
- Company Cash/Petty Cash reconciliations
- Reconcile deposit accounts
Profile
- Communication at a professional level is fundamental
- MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills will be essential
- An approach to duties in a methodical manner to achieve deadlines
- Be a strong team player
- Payroll and CIS knowledge would be an advantage, but training will be given.
Office based role
Salary:
Negotiable on experience
Pay:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
