Mental Health Service Lead - Crisis Sanctuary
**Monday 6.5 hrs 3pm

  • 9.30pm**
    Wednesday 2.5hrs 3pm5.30pm

Friday 2.5hrs 3pm-5.30pm
**Sunday 4.5hrs 3pm

  • 7.30pm**
    Plus, an additional 6 floating hours This time should be used to attend meetings, carry out staff 121 supervisions, update staff intranet, establish and lead group supervisions and coordinate promotion of Crisi Sanctuaries.
**On-call provision - The lead post will provide on-call support during their Monday shift and for addition renumeration will be on-call over a split shift on Sundays 10am

  • 12noon & 7.30pm10.30pm Additional fixed fee payment.**
    £12.50 per hour.

Interviews to be held week commencing 1st May.

  • Nottinghamshire Mind is leading on a programme to offer Crisis Sanctuary provision across Nottinghamshire. _
  • As the service grows we are now looking for an _
    experienced Lead_ _who can both support the Mind sanctuary sessions and the staff team providing the interventions._
  • The service is across Nottinghamshire and Minds Lead will work in _
    Mansfield_ _and _
    Worksop._

SKILLS REQUIRED
Are you able to motivate and supervise other team members?

A good communicator with great listening skills?

Do you understand the challenges experienced by people with mental health difficulties?

Could you work in a person centred, non judgemental, recovery oriented manner, while understanding the importance of professional boundaries.

Could you be adaptable, working in a challenging and changeable environment?

Have you good time management skills, can you work to a deadline and have you experience of working towards achieving team objectives?


JOB PURPOSE

  • To supervise a team of intervention workers
  • Recruit a team of support volunteers
  • To organise intervention worker rotas to ensure sessional cover
  • To lead in the development, coordination and evaluation of the Sanctuary programme on behalf of Nottinghamshire Mind
  • To work closely with overall Sanctuary Partnership Lead and Partner Leads from Turning Point and Framework
  • To ensure the programme vision and values are embedded in the team
  • To respond to data collection requests
  • To monitor team performance to ensure it meets expectations and agreed performance criteria, reporting variances to Nottinghamshire Minds Operations Manager
  • To ensure the service is delivered in accordance with the model
  • To work with the Nottinghamshire Mind Operations Manager, Sanctuaries Partnership Lead and partner agencies to monitor and evaluate the programme, including data collation, reports, focus groups and client satisfaction surveys
  • Support in the promotion of the service on behalf of Nottinghamshire Mind

Required

  • A demonstrable belief in a valuesled approach to working with service users with a Mental Health issue.
  • Holds qualification appropriate to the sector e.g. NVQ/QCF or willingness to study towards same
Working knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults framework, the ability to follow procedure and development of a culture of safe practice

  • Ability to work unsocial hours
