What you'll be doingReporting to the Publishing Operations Director, you will be responsible for:
- managing desk editorial for the non-fiction team, from accepted manuscript to final files, allocating and balancing work across the department
- maintaining a freelancer database, and looking to broaden the diversity of our copyeditors and proofreaders
- monitoring and driving progress of the critical path
- offering support and guidance to the editorial teams to maintain the highest possible standards
