Minimum 20 hours per week term time only

Vacancies exist within Sunderland Council's school meals service for Assistant Catering Supervisors. Applicants will need previous experience of working as a Cook / Chef / Assistant Chef within the food industry


Duties include assisting the Catering Supervisor in all aspects of school catering management including the ordering, preparation, cooking and serving of meals.

Good cooking, communication and supervisory skills will be required together with excellent customer care and business awareness.

The posts are term time only and are a minimum 20 hour / week contract.

The position will at times involve deputising the Catering Supervisor in their absence (enhanced rate of pay applies on such occasions).
