Machine Operator - Permanent
Salary £12.00per hour + 25 days holiday

Based in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottingham, NG17 1BX

Monday to Friday - Days - 7.30am until 4.30pm and 12.30pm Friday Finish


Machine Operator / 3Axis CNC/ Loading and Unloading Machines / Remove and Deburr Parts / NG17


Gi Group are working with a long established aerospace manufacturing company who utilise a variety of Machining and Fabrication processes to manufacture products from their modern purpose built facilities located in the East Midlands area.

Purpose of the role:


Duties:


  • Loading and unloading machines in line with instructions from the technicians
  • Remove and deburr machine parts as they are finished
  • Measure the parts to ensure ongoing quality standards are met
  • Utilising measuring tools including verniers, micrometers and depth gauges
  • Changing inserts on cutting tools

ersonal Attributes:

  • Exposure to 3 Axis machines
  • Willingness to learn skills within the aerospace industry
  • Experience of utilising measuring equipment would be advantageous
