Abodus Student Living are looking for a night service professional who is resourceful, organised and motivated to meet the needs of their residents and support the operation of their accommodation in Newcastle upon Tyne.


Role Overview:


  • To present a smart, calm and courteous response to tenants, colleagues and the general public.
  • To act as an overnight support service to the site Management team.
  • To monitor the site's security, by patrolling on foot and with the use of CCTV.
  • Conduct shift handovers, reporting, recording activities and incidents.
  • Work in line with the tenancy agreement and tenant's rights
  • To maintain the tidiness of the site offices and reception areas, and to comply with the company's waste management procedures.
  • To assist in maintaining the security of the property through allocation of keys and the electronic fob access system.
  • To monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.
  • Take responsibility for organizing workload and to work using own initiative, reporting any issues that might arise immediately to the Facilities/Operations Manager.
  • Maintain customer, staff and client confidentiality.
  • To deal with customer enquiries and provide relevant information when required.
  • To take sales enquiry details giving information where required and completing enquiry forms to pass on to the day team.
  • To take detailed logs of service requests, obtaining key information.
  • To respond to soft maintenance issues as directed by the Facilities/Operations Manager.
  • To follow all company Health & Safety procedures in accordance with provided training.
  • To respond to Fire Alarms and assist in the safe evacuation of tenants from the buildings.
  • To report any damages / faults & Health & Safety issues to the Facilities/Operations Manager.
  • To have a thorough knowledge of the property, its layout, services provided, its policies and procedures and its key personnel.
  • To work outside of normal working hours as and when required to cover key event days, particularly the relevant University Move-In weekends.

£21,621.60 per year
