The Launch Group are currently recruiting for Ramp Agents at Newcastle International Airport

Contract: 30 hours per week, permanent

Job responsibilities
The following responsibilities are associated with this job role:

Aircraft baggage loading and unloading
Baggage sorting and transportation
Aircraft push back
Unit load devise control
Airside Driving
Delivering exceptional and safe service
Effective team player
Committed to learning and growth
Selfconfident and can stay calm under pressure
Organised and can manage time well
Physically fit as lifting up to 32kg as required
Have a driver's license
Fluent English speaker
Basic intermediate computer skills

Qualifications & competencies

Flexible to work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
Ability to speak and understand the English language
Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
Willingness to work in inclement weather
Able to work in a manual handling environment and repeatedly lift up to 32kg throughout a shift
Able to work in some confined spaces (aircraft hold)
Able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment
Hold a full driving licence (depending on operational needs)
Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired
