    Risk Analyst - Market & Liquidity: A Hybrid Working Opportunity



    Our client seeks a Risk Analyst Market & Liquidity to support the management of Market risks, daily reporting, and analysis. This role involves producing and preparing reports, M.I., and analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Produce internal Management Information for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
    2. Assist in identifying and evaluating regulatory developments, market trends, and industry practices, contributing to resulting initiatives.
    3. Contribute to the continuous development of internal Risk Management processes.
    4. Document and maintain internal models, processes, policies, and tools as part of the risk oversight and analytics function.
    5. Support the Manager in delivering key regulatory outcomes related to market and liquidity risk.
    6. Support model analysis to enhance the liquidity and interest rate risk framework.
    7. Monitor new and developing regulatory requirements and assess their impact.
    8. Develop and implement risk strategies to ensure compliance with agreed risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
    9. Assist the treasury function with weekly cash flow forecast scenario analysis.
    10. Support testing of new ALM systems.

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    1. Good numerate/scientific Bachelor's, Master's, or post-Graduate degree.
    2. 1+ year of experience within the financial services sector and financial risk management (preferably liquidity risk).
    3. Demonstrable experience in managing analytical and data-intensive processes.
    4. Proven ability to approach complex problems logically.
    5. Strong knowledge of MS-Excel capabilities, including lookup functions, sumif functions, Pivot Tables, etc.
    6. Solid understanding of Excel modeling, VBA, or SQL/Data Concepts, with demonstrated skills in interrogating large datasets using custom queries or macros.
    7. Excellent communication skills.
    8. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.

    Salary: Up to £42,000
