If you enjoy admin and marketing or want to get some experience in these skills, this could be the role for you.


Volunteers like you give their time behind the scenes to support the team and provide people in their local community with wheelchairs and other equipment to help them get moving again after an illness or injury.

Spread the power of kindness with us and help ensure everyone who needs one can get a wheelchair.


Why do we want you
We need volunteers to help out "behind the scenes" so that everyone who needs one can get a wheelchair.

In this role, you could be lending a hand with admin, helping with marketing, or assisting in one of our warehouses.

Whatever you do, you will be making a great contribution and joining a friendly team of people who together provide 75,000 wheelchairs a year across the UK.


What will you be doing?

  • Basic office admin
  • Arranging wheelchair deliveries and collections
  • Phoning customers to remind them their equipment is due for return or to extend the return date
  • Helping with promotion and marketing

The skills you need

  • Responsible, reliable, organised
  • Good IT skills and willing to learn our system
  • Good people skills
  • Happy to use the phone to contact customers
  • Ideally, able to commit to regular volunteering (e.g. one session per week)
