Description

The main focus of the post is to carry out appropriate technical laboratory procedures and tasks that are consistent with knowledge, skills and experience.

These tasks may vary from day to day but examples would include:

Carrying out specialist immunology analysis; specialist reading and reporting of results with appropriate escalation as required; maintaining appropriate records and documentation; specialist test set up; dealing with telephone enquiries; complex problem solving; quality assurance processes.
