Description

Our client is a nationwide award winning principle construction contractor.

They are seeking a hard working and reliable general operative with IPAF MEWP operator tickets to work full time in Plymouth.

Please note this vacancy is part general operative and part IPAF/MEWP operator.

An example of day to day duties are listed below but may vary as instructed by management.

MEWP operating (mobile elevating working platform)
Carrying out work as a general operative when not needed on the scissor lift or cherry picker.
Operating scissor lifts or cherry pickers.
Provining access for trades to work at height.
Working at heights and ground levels.
Manual handling and general labouring.
Reporting any problems management.
To take instruction from management and attend briefings.

We are offering £14 - £15ph PAYE depending on experience and working hours will be 7.30am - 5pm with 1 hours break.

You will have the opportunity to make new industry contacts and become exclusive with Setsquare meaning first refusal on future jobs.

There may be a potential for overtime and weekend work on occasions. This is optional and at management's discretion.

Overtime will be available on weekends and week days with elevated hourly rate. Call to discuss.

You must have an in date CSCS card with level 1. This is essential for the role.
You must have an IPAF 3a and 3b ticket
A level of fitness will be required to carry out duties related to this role.
Transport is desirable but nonessential.
You must have your own PPE including hard hat, hi vis and protective footwear.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
