Job Summary
Scope
Knight Frank is the leading independent property consultancy in the world, offering agency and professional services across the Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors.
Based in our London head office, the Energy and Sustainability department is looking to recruit an Associate, Renewable Energy and E-Mobility.
Supported by the wider Department, you will be responsible for leading and delivering instructed consultancy assignments whilst maintaining a high professional profile and a relationship with our clients built on trust and integrity.
Responsibilities
General
- To work as part of the Energy and Sustainability team to deliver instructed consultancy assignments in the areas of: Renewable Energy and E-Mobility.
- Your work will include: originating and managing transactions in the sectors, conducting project feasibilities, managing the delivery of projects, providing strategic advice to clients.
- You will have the ability, over time, to take on a leadership role in this area and build a growing team.
- To produce high quality client reports.
- To be able to quality assure the work of other team members.
- To be able to build client trust through hard work and strategic insight.
- To be entrepreneurial in your approach to conducting business and to identify projects and transactions to benefit our clients.
- To liaise with other departments when required.
- To communicate fully with all concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner.
- To assist the Head of Energy, Sustainability and Natural Resources (and others) in business development to secure new consultancy work.
- To understand our business and to have a sound business knowledge together with a keen awareness of the competition.
- To research accurately and present this information in writing to a highly professional standard with respect to preparation of client proposals.
- To build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality, and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.
- To perform other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required.
Professional experience and personal skills profile
Qualifications/Education Required:
- Degree educated
- A relevant professional qualification to Masters level and / or chartered membership (RICS/ICE/IEMA/CENG/CENV/MEI).
Career Experience Required:
- At least 5 years' experience of working within the real estate sector and with specific sectoral experience in Renewables and E-Mobility.
Aptitudes/Skills Required:
- Indepth knowledge of relevant policy, legislation and industry practice that is driving the uptake of renewables and emobility projects in the real estate sector.
- The knowledge, enthusiasm, and expertise to persuade potential clients to choose Knight Frank.
- An entrepreneurial approach and drive that seeks to create value in our client's portfolios.
- The commitment and determination to act effectively and professionally on behalf of the client
- The capacity to respond effectively and professionally towards other parties with whom business is being carried out.
- The willingness and understanding to adopt an overall view of the Partnership's best interests when dealing with any person.
