Salary - up to £50k per annum depending on experience and qualifications

The Role:


  • Manage systems and workflows.
  • Organise and monitor training throughout the department, including delivering training that will help improve their technical and system knowledge.
  • Ownership of quality within the department, including organising regular quality reviews and reporting to the team on areas of improvement.
  • Manage their people resource, including recruitment within the department.
  • Responsibility of our Compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering and Risk.
  • Taking ownership of Data, ensuring it is accurate, up to date.
  • Take an active role in ensuring we maximise our accounting fee income, ensuring monthly and ad hoc billing accurately reflects our agreements and billable time.
  • Play a key part in our onboarding process of our new clients, ensuring new client administration is undertaken.
  • Be a people manger to an operations team.

Skills and experience required:


  • Previous experience in an accounting practice
  • Excellent understanding of modern accountancy systems
  • Excellent organisational skills

Desirable:


  • ACCA/ACA Qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in an equivalent role
  • Exposure to designing and implement systems and processes
  • Proven track record of change management
