Teglios is a stunning 19thCentury pilchard packing factory converted into a luxury duplex holiday apartment situated on the Quay in East Looe with 5 Stars and a Gold Award by Visit England.

As one of the most popular houses in Southeast Cornwall, it lets for around 45 weeks a year (Saturday to Saturday) and our guests expect the highest standards during their stay.

We only get one chance to make a first impression so we need someone with a keen eye, very high cleaning standards and happy to manage another cleaner.

The Role:


Head Housekeeper (East Looe)

Hours:

Saturdays 10:00 - 15:00 (approx. 45 Saturdays a year)

Weekdays Additional 3-4 hours per week for off-site laundry


Salary:

£ £15.00 per hour (dependent on age & experience)


The role

• Changing Four double bedrooms
• Cleaning three shower rooms and one bathroom
• Cleaning the kitchen
• Cleaning the living room & landings
• Cleaning the inside of all windows
• Check all appliances are working
• Perform routine Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting checks
• Carry out inventory check and report all breakages or damage
• Ordering cleaning supplies as necessary
• Liaising with the managing agent about guest requirements
• Laundering & ironing of all linens & towels
• Replenishing essential larder supplies (Tea, coffee etc)
• Liaising with the local window cleaner, maintenance team and rubbish collection service as necessary
• Being on hand to resolve any housekeeping issues arising during a guest's holiday

Work Experience:

You do not need to be from a housekeeping background but will need to demonstrate the personal attributes above from your previous employment history.

£12.50-£15.00 per hour
