    Search Consultant Role

    We are a management consultancy and recruitment business that supports housing, charities, public, not-for-profit organisations. We are seeking a Search Consultant to join our permanent recruitment team.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Conduct research on potential candidates using various online tools, company databases, and existing networks.
    • Identify and contact potential candidates via email, phone, and social media to discuss their interest and suitability for roles.
    • Conduct suitability assessments to ensure alignment with role requirements.
    • Provide progress reports to stakeholders and produce high-quality long list reports including written summaries of candidate applications.
    • Grow a base of new emerging talent for various roles using advertising, networking, marketing, and social media tools.
    • Be a point of contact for incoming potential candidates and register them on our database.
    • Expand market knowledge through internal and external events attendance, market literature, and colleagues with extensive market knowledge.
    • Maintain the candidate database according to agreed record keeping conventions and best practice.
    • Ensure recruitment processes are fully compliant with employment and other legislation, staying up-to-date with changes and revising company processes accordingly.

    Requirements

    • Degree-level education or equivalent standard.
    • Experience in the recruitment field, preferably at executive search level.
    • Operating administrative and data systems skills.
    • Solid experience with MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Familiarity with the social housing, care, charitable, or public sector is desirable but not essential.
    • Ability to produce high volumes of written work to a professional standard.
    • Effective communication with a diverse range of contacts.

    Benefits

    • 25 days' annual leave, rising by one day per completed year of service up to a maximum of 30 days.
    • Salary exchange pension scheme with employer contributions matching employee contributions up to 5%.
    • Health insurance for employees who have completed their probation, covering employees and dependants with company-paid premiums.
    • Death in service insurance equivalent to two years' salary.
    • Yearly bonus of 10% based on company and individual performance.
