Job Title:
Conveyancer
Duties:
- Conducting property title searches and reviewing legal documents related to property transactions
- Preparing and drafting legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and mortgage agreements
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in property transactions
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients regarding property transactions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and procedures
- Managing and organizing files and documentation related to property transactions
- Attending meetings, negotiations, and closings on behalf of clients
- Conducting research on property laws, regulations, and market trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
- Proven experience as a Conveyancer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of property laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using legal software and databases
- Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (if applicable)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
