Due to aggressive growth plans Polestar is currently looking to recruit a Project Coordinator - Software & Electronics (SW&E).


Let us describe the challenge we offer
Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. We are expanding our SW&E team to deliver systems and features to an increasing number of programmes. The projects team are the interface between the SW&E function group and the Programmes they deliver to. We track, communicate, manage and coordinate tasks throughout each vehicle programme lifecycle, from Pre-, to post-.


The purpose of this job will be to support the Project Leads and the wider SW&E function group to deliver the programmes on time and on budget, using and assisting in the development of tools and processes to achieve this goal.

The role is located in dual UK locations (Coventry / MIRA) with mínimal travel expectations. Your broad project experience within an engineering industry will be invaluable to Polestar.

What you'll do
The SW&E Projects team is part of the Polestar R&D Organisation. The team's mission is to drive and support the Software & Electronics organization to deliver the Polestar vehicle programmes.


For example, you will:

  • Assist in preparations for milestone reviews and project meetings
  • Lead subprojects such as Pre
- study items and prototype build preparation

  • Assist in the preparation and tracking of Function Implementation Plans
  • Coordinate and the team's DVP plan and test schedule
  • Report out DVP status to Programme teams
  • Ensure all test plans and reports are filled according to the programme milestones
  • Maintain and manage the SW&E vehicle test fleet
  • Coordinate deviations / deviation approvals where required
  • Issue regular project communications to the team
  • Coordinate updates to programme content / product specification
  • Participate in lessons learned reviews and process development workstreams
