Infrastructure Engineer - Liverpool / Remote - c£40k - £50K + Benefits


Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple teams to design, implement, optimise and maintain solutions
  • Manage and configure infrastructure services spanning multiple sites
  • Innovate and automate process where possible
  • BAU tasks (whitelisting, NAT & ACL rules, backups, VM builds)

Requirements:


  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years' experience working in an enterprise environment
  • Excellent knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent understanding of networking (VLAN, Subnetting etc.)
  • Cisco ASA Firewalls
  • Cisco Switching & Routing
  • SitetoSite VPNs
  • VMware (ESXi min 6.5+ vCentre min 6.5+)
  • Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2,2016,2019)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with NGF
  • Knowledge of Network virtualisation ( e.g VMware NSX )
  • Meraki WIFI
  • Group Policy
  • Intune
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013, 201
  • CloudFlare
  • Active Directory
  • Previous Experience in using Backup products (Backup Exec, Veeam and Avepoint)

  • Storage (VNXe, Unity, Nimble)
  • HPE ProLiant Server Hardware (Installation, Configuration, iLO)

  • DevOps Systems (Chef, Ansible, Terraform)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation or above
  • Working with different regulatory requirements (e.g. PCI)
  • Gaming & Betting knowledge
