Summary of role:
You will be highly organised and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. You will have strong writing skills and a knack for digital marketing.
This role is hybrid, based in Leeds, UK. You will work in our office three days per week, including Mondays.
Responsibilities:
- Measure the success of campaigns and use what you have learned to influence future content.
- Produce and publish daily content for_ FinTech Intel_: curate content from press releases, secure exclusives from relevant parties, and conduct onetoone interviews with sector experts.
- Market and promote _FinTech Intel_ events and conferences.
- Assist in preparing for events and conferences, including designing judging criteria, writing scripts, and curating judging panels and speakers.
- Curate, edit and distribute weekly newsletters packed with exclusives and relevant insights.
- Build strong relationships with relevant partners and stay on top of emerging trends in the fintech sector to establish _FinTech Intel_ as a leader in the field.
Desired skills and experience:
Required:
- A minimum of two years' experience in journalism or marketing, with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Interest in, and understanding of, fintech including blockchain and funding, with a willingness to learn more.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally to attend key events.
Desirable:
- Understanding of SEO when producing online content
- Experience of WordPress, Canva, and MailChimp
- Able to use Apple/MacBook Pro
- Experience in using analytics to spot trends and benchmark engagement
