    Job Title:

    Network Assurance Manager

    About the Role:

    The Network Assurance Manager will be responsible for network assurance matters associated with HV and EHV asset adoption and operation. This will ensure that assets are constructed to appropriate standards, in conjunction with other senior management team members who provide specialist knowledge.

    Key Objectives:

    • Establish, review, and manage network analysis procedures
    • Develop a network management strategy to meet ESPUG's licence conditions effectively
    • Develop and maintain commissioning policies to ensure compliance with ESPUG standards, Distribution Safety Rules, and industry guidance

    Responsibilities:

    • Accountable for quality and compliance of asset construction and operations by:
    • Conducting network studies based on established intervals to ensure network compliance
    • Developing, reviewing, and managing network management strategies
    • Maintaining commissioning policies and processes
    • Establishing and maintaining policy/code of practice for statutory and operational labelling of assets
    • Managing LV fault finding procedures
    • Engaging with industrial partners to develop generation connection procedures
    • Participating in technical and compliance discussions with customers and stakeholders
    • Conducting asset condition analysis and defect/NCR trend analysis
    • Reporting on safety and technical non-conformances

    Requirements:

    • Excellent relationship management skills across the business and with customers, consumers, and service providers
    • Experience in delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of electricity distribution networks operating at up to 132kV
    • Knowledge of regulatory and HSE frameworks
    • Knowledge of electricity industry Standards, Recommendations, Specifications, and Legislation relevant to construction and operation of gas and electricity distribution networks
    • Educational background in electrical engineering with degree qualification and several years' experience in electricity distribution/transmission network planning and network management

    Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on location.
