Salary:
£42k - £52k

Location:
FULLY REMOTE

Duration:
full-time fixed term contract until December 2023, with the potential to extend further

A fantastic new opportunity has come up to challenge a keen Senior Software Developer to join an internationally leading and rapidly growing research group in the Computer Science department of an esteemed UK University.

You will be an excellent Senior Software Developer if you:

Are a Grade 7 or 8 developer
Have a BSc degree in _Computer Science_, _Computer Engineering_ or _Mathematics_
Can contribute and take initiative in software development projects using
Java or
Scalawith Spark
Have a solid comprehension of core computer science fundamentals, such as datastructures, sorting and searching
Have experience with relationaldatabases
Understand build systems like Maven and Ant, and source control systems like Git
Can design and run performance tests
Are experienced designing RESTful web services
