Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a qualified plumber to join a long standing reputable housing organisation.

Job Description:

To carry out all aspects of plumbing work on maintenance, repairs and Construction projects to Council dwellings, schools and public buildings.
To install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers and wash basin
To renew external gutters, fall pipes and soil stacks where necessary
To renew and repair external water services and stop cocks
To liaise with other employees of various trades, tenants, managers, caretakers etc
To work at heights using the necessary safety equipment
To maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that service efficiency is achieved
To submit all worksheets and documents relating to job (electronically or by paper) within the required timescales
To carry out Driver/Labourer duties as and when required

Beneficial Qualification

NVQ level 2 in Plumbing
NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards Gaining qualification
Apprentice trained in Plumbing industry

Additional Information

Hours Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Contract Length - Feb 2024 likely to be extended

Hourly Rates

PAYE £15.27 per hour

Umbrella £18.23 per hour
