£24,000 - £27,000

Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one.

About the role:
As our Social Media Assistant, you will work within our multi-disciplined Marketing and Communications team and support the Social Media Manager in the day-to-day running of our social channels.
You will work across both organic and paid social media, working with the wider Marketing and Communications team and the rest of the organisation to achieve our social media goals.
In addition to managing daily incoming comments and communications, you will also lead on research for upcoming and innovative social avenues for our marketing and help nurture social media influencers to promote the Dementia UK brand.
You will have experience working with social media platforms, a real understanding of the benefits social media can bring to Dementia UK, excellent organisational and planning skills, and experience using packages such as Canva, Adobe, and video editing software.
If you also have experience using paid social media, have worked in a charity or public sector setting, and have knowledge of GDPR, that would be a real advantage.
