Salary £27,852-£32,020 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | County Hall, Preston |


Key responsibilities include:

  • A higherlevel technical understanding and capability that enables input to the sourcing, design and procurement of technical solutions provided by the Conference team working closely with other enabling Services e.g., Digital Service and external supplier contractors.
  • Deliver client expectations for all technical aspects of the service offer, including but not limited to, hybrid meetings, provision and delivery of a robust webcast service for all political meetings, video recording, editing and production, studio, webinars etc.
  • Support and supervise the daytoday activity of the Conference Technicians ensuring effective resource planning to cover the full range of working hours, and that customer needs are fully met, equipment is correctly tested, operated, and maintained, and the team is fully conversant with technical delivery of the service.
  • Provide support and training to the Exchange sites in Lancaster and Burnley for all technical solutions and requirements and at any other LCC sites as may be required.
  • Engage directly with Digital Services in the reporting of any system or equipment faults and proactive management of these to satisfactory resolution and escalate where necessary to ensure timely closure of faults.
  • Responsible for all Audio-Visual systems, set up and testing for all meeting types including key highprofile meetings and the setup, testing and running of webcast meetings.
  • Provide input to identification of market leading solutions that further enable the organisation to embrace technology for all meeting types and events.
