Salary:

to be determined with due regard to the transitional arrangements relating to the 2016 contract for doctors and dentists in training (if applicable).

Indicative scales; 2016 scale for doctors and dentists in training; £28,243 to £52,043 per annum (plus pay premia where eligible).

Post-2009 Clinical Lecturer scale; £34,466 to £60,760 per annum.

Liverpool has extensive internationally leading expertise in the therapeutics of infection.

In particular, the Infection Pharmacology Group has a large programme of research in HIV therapy, drug-drug interactions involving antiviral drugs, pharmacological characterisation and early-phase trials of novel COVID-19 antivirals.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for an individual with relevant research experience who wishes to pursue a clinical academic career in infectious diseases, focussing on antimicrobial therapeutics.
