Description

We are looking for a pharmacy technician to join our growing pharmacy team within Royal Wolverhampton Trust Primary Care Network (PCN).


You will support and work with the PCN Pharmacy team to deliver services to the PCN and patients such as repeat prescriptions and medicinesreconciliationand optimisation, and you will further develop and review PCN compliance with medicine management policies and medicine safety matters.

You will also be supported to enroll on and complete the CPPE Primary Care pathway.

RWT PCN consists of 9 GP practices in Wolverhampton working collaboratively to deliver services and improve patient outcomes.


The role of the PCN Pharmacy Technician is to support the PCN clinical pharmacists to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste and maximising patient outcomes.


To be responsible for encouraging the development of better understanding of the principles of medicines optimisation throughout the practice teams and promoting good practice in line with clinical and operational guidelines.
