Description
The Controlling function provides financial analysis and decision-making support to the business. The
Accountant (Controlling) role provides support to the Director to achieve the set objectives.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:


  • Providing planning and analysis support for industry specific management of the business
  • Financial analysis and reporting for informed decision making and high performance
  • Preparing and controlling budgets, forecasts and other planning processes
  • Preparing approval requests
  • Preparing investment decisions and related business cases
  • Strategic and adhoc projects
  • Reconciliation of Global and EMEA data to local systems
  • Maintaining and developing business intelligence systems and solutions
  • Business procedures, controls and risk assessments

Key skills and experience required:


  • Recognised Accounting qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience working in either practice or industry will be considered
  • Excellent analytical skillsExternal audit and internal controls experience
  • Ability to communicate strongly across business functions
  • Strong IT skills
  • Office 365 (Excel and Powerpoint in particular)
  • Knowledge of SAP would be preferred
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload within a busy environment
  • Ability to show initiative
Working hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday

Currently 3 days in the office/2 working from home

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
