Hours: 8am until 4pm (Monday to Friday)


Salary:
£12 to £13 per hour

Polytec are looking for a Stores / Logistics Assistant for our client based a few miles south of Cambridge.

You will need to have a full UK driving licence and be over 25 years of age for company vehicle insurance.

This is a temporary role but could becomepermanent for the right person.


Responsibilities:


  • Receiving raw materials into the Main Warehouse and entering on the ERP system
  • Issue and transport raw materials to the Kitting Store in a timely manner ensuring adequate stock is maintained
  • Picking items in the Kitting Store to make up kits against production orders
  • Collect finished product transporting it back to the Main Warehouse
  • Picking, packing and documenting finished product
  • Raise shipping paperwork
  • Ensure ERP systems are constantly updated as applicable

Requirements:


  • At least 3 years' stores and logistics experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence and over 25 years of age for Company vehicle insurance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to ensure orders for production and customers are on schedule
