Lead Analyst Developer - Up to £105,000 D.O.E - London/Hybrid - 2 Days a Week in Office

Overview


Calling all Senior and Lead Analyst Developers, my client is looking to take on an analyst developer with some form of Entry level Lead experience, strong problem solving skills, mentoring capabilities alongside a desire to lead a small team of Developers.

They are one of the UK's Largest Pension Funds with over 60 years operating in the financial industry.


As a Lead Analyst Developer the main purpose of the role is to:

  • Deliver core systems and development processes/tools as identified in the IMS roadmap to enable a robust, supportable production environment.
  • Develop technical solutions in the form of bespoke software and thirdparty product integration.
  • Lead a workstream with 24 developers using Scrum / Agile principles.

Required Skills:


  • Extensive experience expected in the following technologies:
  • C# / MVC / ASP.NET / PowerShell / HTML5 / JavaScript / Python
  • Expected to produce clear, concise, maintainable code.
  • Experience with using cloud computing / Azure infrastructure desirable.
  • Exposure to Financial industry is ideal but not

Key Responsibilities

  • Balancing sprints / development activities vs resource availability
  • Organising and preparing releases
  • Analyse technical/business problems and document requirements
  • Develop quality software to meet the evolving technical/business needs of USSIM, documenting as required.
  • Knowledge share across the team with some mentoring from more senior members
  • Participate in team workshops
