  • We are seeking someone to join our growing Business Change function that has a diverse set of skills and experiences to develop and deliver a transformation communication strategy and create content for an internal and external audience.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to be on the front line of major transformational efforts across multiple functions. You will enable the business to deliver against transformational strategies and maximise the adoption through carefully constructed communications which align with our transformation goals and behavioural change programs.
  • This is an 18 month contract.
    Knowledge, Competencies & Experience
  • Experience of creating a wide variety of impactful communication content through a variety of media e.g. intranet new stories, PowerPoint decks, speaker notes, infographics etc.
  • Ability to assess the effectiveness of content and continuously improve based on end user feedback an impact
  • Exposure and involvement in implementing business change management programs
  • Appreciation of the impact of change on people and the processes required to enable change to have longlasting effect
  • Understanding of the role of effective communication in delivering on change plans, and the power of building multiple communications into a single cohesive and consistent plan
  • Experience in engaging diverse audiences and developing localised, relevant content for them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised selfstarter, highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Tenacious influencer
  • Strong verbal influencing and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to copywrite to a high standard
  • Experience in large scale business transformation programs
  • Full driving license is essential for this role as some time may be spent on our other UK sites understanding the organisational change context

Role Purpose & Objectives

  • To be a key partner for the Transformation Office in managing change communications across the organisation:
  • Own the delivery of change communication milestones for priority initiatives including being responsible for curating appropriate messaging
  • Help build momentum for our longterm change program by prioritising success stories, building consistent themes to help draw together a cohesive message and being regular in our delivery
  • Advise the Head of Business Change on appropriate communication strategies
  • Advise and coach business Initiative Owners on communication, methods and tools
  • Influence sponsors and business leaders to effectively guide change manageemnt of strategic efforts
  • Define and measure engagement success metrics to ensure change is absorbed and welcomed by our teams
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to all Exertis policies and procedures including our Ethics/Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
