THE POST - Professor of Social Work


The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is looking to appoint an outstanding academic to join our highly reputable School of Education and Social Sciences as Professor of Social Work.

This is one of 3 key Professorial appointments, demonstrating a strategic investment to further improve our research environment.


The School of Education and Social Sciences at UWS is internationally renowned for its excellent provision in Education and Social Sciences.

It provides outstanding initial teacher training, its PGDE offer is highly valued across Scotland, and our programmes have continually ranked within the top 5 Universities in the UK.
