We have a new opportunity for a Finance Assistant, to join our growing finance team in North Leigh, Oxfordshire. We are a fun and outgoing team and we work hard to provide a great place to work and look after our employees


The role is based in the office and is a full time and the salary range is £24,000 to £27,000 per annum.

We are looking for a friendly, professional and highly motivated team player.

You will be able to organise your workload using own initiative and with mínimal supervision; work to deadlines; be able to generate high volumes of accurate work with high attention to detail.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; have experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel. You will have strong organisational skills; and the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff.


Responsibilities:


  • All actions associated with maintaining the sales ledger, purchase ledger, expenses and reconciliation of bank transactions
  • Daily credit card uploads and associated reconciliations
  • Producing supplier payment list for processing
  • Producing analysis of accounts figures and assisting with monthend procedures
  • Ad hoc finance duties

The successful applicant will have:


  • Some practical accounting experiences and knowledge
  • Computer literate including Excel and Word to intermediate standard. Experience of using Xero would be useful
  • Ability to cope with work pressure prioritising work is essential and priorities constantly change so flexibility and pro activity is needed
  • Methodical and organised with an attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Book keeping experience or currently studying AAT
This role will suit anyone with finance experience, administrative experience, accountancy experience or book keeping.
