Your New Role


Responsible for Scheduling content and the process around it for HBO Max EMEA and in the future for MAX EMEA.

Work closely with the Planning & Scheduling Specialists in overseeing overall relationship with internal media departments (Media Supply Chain MSC; Acquisitions, Programming & Strategy P&S; Editorial).

Ensures scheduled content is available by BTC in compliance with rights and business objectives.

Serve as the scheduling and planning systems specialist, supporting the manager and the team in ensuring the content plans are executed correctly across all territories and affiliates.

Ensuring workflows between Discovery + and MAX are aligned as much as possible ahead of the EMEA MAX launch.


Your Role Accountabilities

  • Within the planning & scheduling support the manager in taking ownership of the scheduling process and systems and ensuring we execute both the long and short term strategic content plan for HBO MAX EMEA correctly and on time.
  • Work with the Discovery + planners and aligning the scheduling process to the extent possible ahead of the MAX launch.
  • Take ownership of specific scheduling tasks as assigned by the manager to support BAU and upcoming launches.
  • Support the manager in being a point of contact and super user for all Airtable development, implementation and improvement across EMEA for the planning and scheduling team.
  • Create and set up reports that compares planning documents with scheduling tools and ensuring the plans are always executed across all systems.
  • Maintains an overview of all content types and works with other planning specialists in supporting them to ensure we always have an even and steady flow of content coming to the platform.
  • Supporting the Scheduling Manager and the Planning Managers with easy access and views of content volumes in Airtable.
  • Constantly review and improve how the team use Airtable and other planning and cheduling systems.
  • Work closely with our LatAm, Apac, and US colleagues on alignment and content roll out of MAX Originals and other Warner titles to ensure we have the same schedule date and time.
  • Support the development (along with BPI/MSC/Tech Ops and Bebanjo Team) the improve the setup and processes for insertion of content on HBO Max EMEA in Bebanjo (scheduling system) and in the future the required systems for MAX
  • Be a leading partner in the roll out of MAX across EMEA ensuring all scheduling and planning needs are met with the new systems.
  • Supporting the Manager and working with Operations, Planning & Scheduling, Acquisitions, Rights Teams and other departments in structuring and setting up the processes and workflows for BEAM in EMEA.
  • Work with WM Programming Team and Editorial Team on avail list, inventories for the month and content expiration.
  • Checking and confirming all content is scheduled within correct rights in Bebanjo and ensuring rights gating is working as intended.
  • Monitor content volume and ensure compliance with local regulations when applicable.
  • Work closely with the Warner Media Ops team and media supply chain to ensure content arrives on platform as expected.
  • Reconcile content exhibition reports with finance and amortization if needed.
  • Ensure communication of missing components in assets packages downstream (images, metadata, content, dubbing track, etc).
  • Close cooperation with localisations and content ops, ensuring the timely availability of localizations (subs and dubs where customary).

Skills and Experience

  • Fluent in English.
  • Solid experience in scheduling, digital media/stream platforms or network.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization.
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure, complete projects successfully and respond to changing demands and priorities whilst maintaining a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Business oriented with strong negotiation/mediation skills.
  • Understanding of the entertainment industry or media and the EMEA market is a plus
