You will work closely with the wider Anaesthetic Administration Team which consists of other administrative staff members, supporting the Anaesthetic medical staff daily.
Your work will primarily focus on the development and maintenance of the anaesthetic rota, in liaison with a wide range of staff consisting of Consultants, General Management and clinical group representatives.
In this fast-paced environment you must have the ability to prioritise workload, offer efficient time management along with the team and be able to demonstrate Trust values at all times.
To provide daily administrative support of the electronic Anaesthetic rota (CLWRota) ensuring accurate population of shifts, minimising any vacant gaps through efficient and effective resource planning.
Offer continuous support if necessary, during absence or sickness, and annual leave. With all administrative tasks within the Anaesthetic rota team.

Act as a day-to-day trouble shooter working closely with the Anaesthetic Resource Manager, and wider Anaesthetic team to ensure that theatre lists have adequate Anaesthetic.
Processing of any paperwork for authorisation by either the Clinical Director, Clinical Lead, or Management team.
Inputting data, meeting deadlines, and maintaining internal databases ensuring the accurate recording of paperwork and requests
Supporting the department in the smooth transition for all Trainee Doctor
Provide continuous administrative support for Anaesthetic and Critical Care colleagues
