Pipefitter - King's Cross, United Kingdom - Boiler Pointer

Description

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the layout and sequence of pipe installations
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines
• Weld, solder, or braze pipes and fittings together using various techniques
• Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other equipment
• Repair or replace damaged pipes or fittings as needed
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective pipe installations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role
• Knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting and working in confined spaces
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

£21.00-£22.00 per hour
