PET-Xi is hiring Join Our Mission to Empower Learners Science Tutor Wanted in Manchester on a Fixed-Term contract
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Science Tutor to tutor GCSE
Science to secondary students.

You will be primarily responsible for the delivery of pre-designed key stage 3-4
Science materials, that means:

Less Marking
Less lesson planning
Support with Preprepared lesson materials

This is a field-based role covering the
Manchester, where you will be tasked with the following:

Delivering up to 5, 1-hour sessions to small groups of 3 students
Completing brief progress reports

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience with engaging with young peoples' activities
Ability to engage with and inspire young learners by using appropriate training techniques and interpersonal skills
Create an appropriate learning environment and maintain a disciplinary framework by demonstrating a strong 'presence' in the classroom
Be capable of modifying delivery method dependant on the learners in the group
Be able to work to deadlines
Have good ICT skills using Microsoft Office software
The ability to adapt to different learning styles at pace

In order to deliver this qualification to PET-Xi standards, staff must hold (or be working towards):

A level 3 or higher teaching qualification
An Enhanced current DBS check, preferably on the update service. (Essential)

Personal Skills:

Excellent communication skills
Presentation, written and verbal.
Time management and organisational skills.
Ability to manage own diary.
