Richmond is looking for a Health & Social Care Skills Coach to join our team of dedicated professionals in providing apprenticeships, qualifications, and other learning opportunities in the healthcare and business sectors.

As part of our commitment to workforce development and talent acquisition, we work closely with employers to identify key learning requirements and deliver tailored training programmes that meet organisational goals.

As a Health & Social Care Skills Coach, you will play a key role in providing support to learners and employers, ensuring that all our programmes are of the highest quality and that our learners have an unrivalled experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver supportive and inclusive learning opportunities to learners within the health and social care sector, and provide regular feedback on progress and development
  • Support learners in the development and achievement of their learning goals, and provide guidance on how to receive the best possible learning experience
  • Maintain uptodate records that demonstrate individual and collective progress, and support the collection of evidence to demonstrate the success and performance of our programmes
  • Conduct regular assessments of learners and provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement, in line with awarding body and government guidelines
  • Support and guide learners through their endpoint assessment, ensuring that all evidence is collected in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build strong relationships with employers to ensure that their needs and requirements are met, and identify new opportunities to expand our programmes and services
  • Continuously improve your own knowledge and understanding of developments within the health and social care sector, and ensure that this is shared with colleagues for the benefit of all learners

Requirements:


  • Experience of working in a health and social care setting, and a good knowledge of sectorspecific practices and regulations
  • A passion for teaching and supporting learners to achieve their full potential, with experience of coaching, mentoring, and inspiring others
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively, with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with learners, employers, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • A recognised teaching or coaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards this in order to meet the requirements of the role
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct at all times, and an enthusiasm for continual professional development and lifelong learning.
