Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team.

As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe.

Your responsibilities will include food preparation, assisting customers, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Duties:

Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
Assist customers in selecting menu items and provide recommendations
Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment.
Opening and closing the café.
Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation and storage
Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Follow company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and hygiene

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
